Framed etching signed by artist Edward J. Cherry (F.R.S.A.) - Shakespeare's Birthplace.

This wonderful framed and pencil signed etching by artist Edward J. Cherry depicting ' Shakespeare's Birthplace Stratford-on-Avon ' is in fantastic condition.
Edward Cherry a well-known engraver in the 1920s often made prints of English landscapes and some Canadian scenes. He immigrated in 1906. Was a part of the Canadian army, gassed during WWI, hospitalized for 2 year. Learned drawing there and etching after returning to England, 1921. He became very popular and was a member of the FRSA. (Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts).
Framed measurements are 11.5 inches in height x 9.5 inches in width.
Unframed measurements are 5 inches in height x 5.5 inches in width.
