Arts and Crafts period 1912 British tourist book - London A Sketch Book by L.G. Hornby. - London - Adam & Charles Black.

This Arts and Crafts early 20th century book bound in brown cloth is a wonderfully collectable and delightful look at London as it was in 1912.
This is one of a collection of books with illustrated drawings done by a group of period artists. Each page features a print of a pen and ink drawing of famous spots in London.
The book does show some signs of use the cover has some minor scrapes to the tightly woven cloth at the corners. There is a a small tear in the front page and an inscription on the front page " Olivia Parmelee - London Feb. 1916 ".
A must have for any vintage art book collector or historian.
