Mid century stoneware art pottery plant holder by Canadian listed artist and potter Ed Drahanchuk.

This mid century pottery stoneware decorated flower pot by Canadian Potter and Artist Ed Drahanchuk is in fantastic condition and would make a wonderful addition to any mid century home or on a teak table.
This pot is clearly marked on base with Ed Drahanchuk stylized monogram and "Drahanchuck" incised.
The measurements are height 4.5 inches x top diameter 5 inches x base diameter 3.75 inches.
Ed Drahanchuk of Drahanchuk Studios & Gallery located on Quadra Island, British Columbia. In cooperation with his wife, Ethel, and architectural sculptor Bob Oldrich, he established Ed Drahanchuk Design Associates in Southwest Calgary in 1963, the year he graduated from the Alberta College of art.
In 1969, he moved into a specially designed 5600 square foot studio/residence. This building won an award as one of Canada’s best designed buildings for the decade 1960-70.
In 1975 he moved and set up a new studio on Quadra Island, B.C.. He has participated in ninety government and gallery exhibitions, in fifteen countries. Many of his pieces were purchased for Canadian embassies.
